Woman Bans Her Friend's Kids From Her Home But Continues to Expect Other Moms to Host Her Children for Play Dates

Welcome, gossip goddesses. Motherhood comes with all sorts of surprises. While there are plenty resources to help prepare new moms for the roller coaster that is raising children, there are still little things that are overlooked and that you have to figure out for yourself. All moms expect to deal with their children's inevitable tantrums, food preferences, and health issues, but are caught off guard when they realize that they will someday be responsible for other people's children as well. Once a child is old enough to make friends, play dates are expected, and suddenly another little monster is placed under your care. Because it's such a huge responsibility as well as extra work, it's totally normal and okay to have boundaries when it comes to sharing your home with other people's children.

In our story today, a woman had one such boundary pertaining to her home; she did not want older children at her home due to previous negative experiences. However, she was totally willing to drop her young kids off at those older kids' homes, laying the burden on other parents. So, was the age gap really the issue? Read below to find out.
